The Music
This grew out of the first bass riff. I'd just bought a new Music Man 5 string bass and it came out of messing about with that. The guitar riff over the top of with echoes of Zeppelin just seemed obvious. I particularly like the twin guitar figure either side of the solo as it's an odd length relative to the beat and "rotates" around the bar, so it's crucial not to lose your place playing it as it's a little tricky to jump back into if you do.

I distinctly remember hearing Graeme's first rough drafts as I was working in Greece at the time, and he emailed me several new MP3 files. I sat on the hotel balcony overlooking the Athens hills in the late evening with a beer listening to this over and over again and loved it straight away. I was struck by the fact that here I was in Athens with all the mythology connected with the area and Graeme's lyrics. It was a great moment.
