The single, including a re-worked version of An Ordinary Man which was released in aid of HELP for HEROES last year, was officially released on Monday the 2nd of November 2009. Some of the major stoes from which you can purchase the single include:
Last year, as many of you will already know, we released An Ordinary Man in aid of HELP for HEROES. It was self funded, self promoted (with a lot of help from forums and independent internet radio) and available as a download only from this website. The response to the YouTube video and the Facebook group etc was overwhelming and we sold a good number of copies raising much needed funds for the charity. This year, with a little more experience, and a lot more support we've got bigger and better plans. We headed off to the studio late July/early August to record two tracks to be released as a charity single in aid of both HELP for HEROES and the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal. The first of these tracks is be Fighting Man, a true reflection of what we're all about as a band, while maintaining the relevance to the charity in its lyrical content. In addition we re-worked An Ordinary Man which is available as the second track on the single. In support of the single we have produced a video and run a national PR campaign in order to promote the venture. We hope you'll continue to support us in our efforts for both HELP for HEROES and the Poppy Appeal as you did last year. Enjoy!
