After more time than any of them care to think about in the musical wilderness (except for covers bands, corporate entertainment and drunken karaokes [yes, that means you Grae!]), five musicians met up one night in a dark corner of a drinking den deep in the depths of York (well, it was the White Swan if you must know! And it was only four of them as one was working!!) to discuss the teetering first steps of what is quickly becoming a powerhouse of rock... They discussed everything from band names to whether or not it was fair game to take the mickey out of the drummer, they also found kindred spirits who held a burning desire to play live, play loud and play rock!!

The brainchild of guitarist Pete Harwood who has spent years (literally!) working on this project MORPHEUS RISING are currently fine tuning their material before unleashing their definitive brand of NWoBHM into the world.  It'll be worth the wait, you'll see ;)
